Our sports series can be divided into two main categories: infill, and non-infill systems. Both infill and non-infill systems are fit for indoor and outdoor applications.

1. Infill systems are better suited for field applications such as: baseball, soccer, and football fields.
2. Non-infill systems are better suited for practice and athletic training applications such as: batting cages and other practice facilities, gym’s both commercial and residential, and physical therapy clinics.

Tips & Reminders:

• Consider the products’ construction when deciding which product to use. Products such as Bermuda and All Sports Turf, are inexpensive but very abrasive on the skin. These products should be used only in applications with minimal skin contact.
• Nylon products, such as Soft Landing and V-Max, are both softer and more resilient. These should be used in applications where there is skin contact, such as: yoga studios, physical therapy clinics, or in applications that will see the use of weighted sleds.

Choosing the right putting surface comes down to a few key options. There are two primary systems: sand-filled and non-infill greens. Both are installed over a compacted aggregate base, but they play differently. Sand-filled greens hold shots from longer distances, while non-infill greens are better suited for shorter play and will not hold balls beyond about 30 feet.

There is also a third option: a foam-backed, non-infill productdesigned for glue-down applications. These require a concrete base and are ideal for indoor or controlled environments.

When considering landscaping products, it’s important to keep in mind the relationship between pile height, infill requirements, and expected foot traffic. 

• Taller products boast a more natural grass appeal but require more infill and are prone to “flattening” if placed in high foot traffic areas. 
• Shorter pile products are ideal for high foot traffic areas. 
• Nylon products should not be used in poolside or pet applications, as they will absorb contaminants.

• Products that are 1.5” tall or less typically take 1 - 1.5 lbs of infill per sq. ft.
